How-to: Update Your Slack Password

 

Regularly changing your password will help keep your data secure. Follow these quick and easy steps to update your account password -

Method #1: Slack Software

Launch the Slack application on your PC, once logged in select your avatar at the top right -

Click Preferences in the drop-down menu -

Select the More option and open Account Settings -

Click expand next to Password -

Enter your current password along with your new secure password, then click Save Password -

Method #2: Slack Website

Navigate to https://www.slack.com and log into your account, click on your avatar at the top right -

Select the More option and open Account Settings -
