How-to: Join Meetings on BlueJeans
Joining a BlueJeans video conference meeting from a computer or smartphone is easy. Follow the steps in this article using the information from your BlueJeans invitation -
From a Windows PC/Workstation
Before the meeting, download and run the BlueJeans for Windows installation found at - https://swdl.bluejeans.com/desktop-app/win/2.21.411.0/BlueJeansInstaller.exe
Attendees should have received an email with details on the upcoming meeting, it may look like this -
- Click the link in the invitation email or visit bluejeans.com and select the Join Meeting button at the upper right of the website
- Enter the Meeting ID and your name when prompted, then select Use Computer for audio and webcam connections
- BlueJeans will automatically connect to the meeting when it's started by the host
IMPORTANT: BlueJeans and other video conferencing services are not supported through VDI/Remote Desktop connections. Please join the meeting directly from your laptop or desktop.
From the Smartphone App
Before the meeting, download the free BlueJeans app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device.
Attendees should have received an email with details on the upcoming meeting, it may look like this -
- In the BlueJeans app select the Join a Meeting or Event option
- Enter the Meeting ID and your name when prompted, then select App Audio & Video for audio and webcam connections
- BlueJeans will automatically connect to the meeting when it's started by the host
Dial-In Audio
Attendees can use the dial-in option to join BlueJeans meetings as a conference call.
Attendees should have received an email with details on the upcoming meeting, it may look like this -
- Dial one of the telephone numbers listed in the invitation you have received
- Enter the Meeting ID when prompted followed by #
- BlueJeans will automatically connect to the meeting when it's started by the host
